Harlequin has been a completely new venture for me personally. As we navigated through the short- term challenges, we never lost sight of our long-term vision that was: to manage to deliver superior sustainable and cost effective coating products. Our senior management team and employees accepted the new process driven ideas and the need to move towards implementation of a structured processes department wise. The importance of linkages between each department and synchronization which lead to reduction in process losses and logistic trepidation’s. Thereby enabling the company to yield profits from process improvement and assiduous awareness among the various department. We approved a new sustainability strategy that potentially increases the number of commitments and targets we intend to reach in the coming five years and also new products and solutions to the niche market we service. This development was mirrored by enlarging the product platform and by introducing custom-made and innovative products to the market. We identified gaps and developed a more integrated and holistic set of goals and targets to drive sustainability further into our core business processes. The Key performance Area evaluation introduced and new plant set up with integration stands witness to this statement.
